The Friedrich C-90B
is ideal for allergy sufferers as it is very effective in removing pollen,
dust, mold spores, and other particulates from the airflow that trigger
allergy
symptoms. The C-90B uses a washable
pre-filter and a carbon filter as part of a 4-step method to air
purification. Only the carbon filter ($20.00) needs replacing every 3
months or so depending on the amount the unit is used and the condition of
the environment it is operating in. It is not recommended for Multiple
Chemical Sensitivity
or asthma sufferers because odor and chemical adsorption is not the
